INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH-TO-PRACTICE CONFERENCE FOR YOUNG RESEARCHERS “ASPIRE TO SCIENCE – 2021”

Call for papers

We would like to thank all graduate and post-graduate students and young researchers for choosing to take part in our Annual International Research-to-Practice Conference “ASPIRE TO SCIENCE” to be held in Novosibirsk State Technical University, and encourage contributing to this conference and submitting papers.

This annual international conference seeks to bring together young researchers from different universities within and outside Russia to become aware of what is being done locally and act as a springboard for further professional development and networking.

The scope of our conference is intentionally wide and includes the following range of subjects.

  • Engineering
  • Natural science
  • Economics
  • Legal science
  • Culture Studies and Cross-cultural Communication
  • National security
  • Philology

Time and venue

The conference will be held on April 22, 2021 at Novosibirsk State Technical University. Address: 20 Karl Marx Avenue, Novosibirsk, Russia.

Submission details:

Original contributions are welcome for submission as full papers April 8, 2021. Papers can only be submitted electronically and designed according to the requirements, see the guidelines below).

  • Full papers must have a maximum of 2,000 words.
  • Papers shall be submitted in English, German or French. For the authors who want to take part in the intramural session, they should be presented and discussed accordingly.
  • Manuscript submissions should be prepared electronically and submitted in a standard word processing format (Microsoft Word) to the Organizing Committee by e-mail kaf_injaz@corp.nstu.ru.
  • All submissions will be reviewed shortly after they are submitted.
  • All accepted papers will be published as refereed Conference proceedings.
  • The publication is free of charge.
  • The electronic version of the proceedings will be available to interested parties free of charge via e-mail.
  • The hard version of the collection is available at the authors’ request and is paid additionally (600 rubles).

The text of the article follows. The text of the article should be typed in MS Word versions from 97 to later (alignment – width, style – normal, font – Times New Roman, size – 10, line spacing – single).

Use hard returns only at the end of paragraphs and display lines (e.g., titles, subheadings).

Turn off automatic hyphenation.

Do not use automatic references.

Do not insert hard page breaks

Figures, diagrams, diagrams and other illustrative materials should be introduced directly into the text of the article with the indication of the figure number. It is also necessary to send files of drawings presented in black and white in graphic format *.TIF or *.JPG with a resolution of 150-300 dpi in separate files (in a file name please specify the figure number.

Formulas should be typed preferably through the MathType formula editor. Use the default MathType style settings.

All abbreviations in the text should be deciphered.

Avoid footnotes.

Reference entries should be numbered in the text with the use of bracketed numerals [1, 7] and listed in in alphabetical order at the end of the paper.

References

  1. Literature and sources are listed at the end in alphabetical order. Sources in Russian should be transliterated (http://translit.net (select BGN); at the end of the source specify [in Russian].
  2. Sources should be properly referenced, indicating the author/s' name, initials, the title of the source article, journal or book, volume, initial page number and the year of source publication.

The text of the article should be carefully edited. The authors are responsible for the accuracy of the facts, quotations, statistics and other data, names and other information provided in the materials.

Materials that do not meet these requirements will not be considered.
