Plenary Presentations:
1. Peter Stepichev, Moscow: “Teaching Skills for the Future in the English Classroom”
Teaching English today is not only about grammar, vocabulary and phonetics, it’s about essential skills for the future. We’ll cover a few ways to teach creativity through English in the context of Surprise pedagogy and highlight the ways that make students co-creators of teaching tools and the educational process in general.
2. Galina Igonina, FL Department for Engineering Faculties at NSTU:
“Creating and Implementing Online Courses as a Tool of Teaching English”
The talk is devoted to the recent approaches in English online course development, adopted at the international universities. Sharing the experience of taking the teacher training course on the given topic at Arizona State University in the summer, 2022 provides the key idea of the report.
3. Natalia Fedotova, FL Department for Engineering Faculties at NSTU:
“If I can make it there, I’ll make it anywhere”
The talk deals with the experience of being a student at Columbia University.
